E2EE contacts and calendar

Small Fig is a private, self-hostable home for contacts, calendars, and events, built by Josh (Side Of Burritos).

"You've got to have high standards, but low expectations."

That is how this is built: high standards for what exists, and low expectations for what does not.

I wanted something with a clean web interface that is easy to use and simple to self-host. Most current options are either too complex to host or not truly end-to-end encrypted, so Small Fig is what I am building instead.

It starts with secure, end-to-end encrypted storage for contacts, calendars, and tasks, with notes and more planned over time. There will also be a companion Android app that handles decryption locally on your device, so you can access and edit your contacts, calendars, events, and tasks in the apps you already use.

There will be a paid version for people who do not want to self-host. For those who do, self-hosting will also be possible with a simple Docker container and HTTPS proxy. The code will be open source, so you can read through it to your heart's content.
